Announcing Discounted Family Vacations
to Cape Cod and VY2/PEI for Amateur Friends!

Hello there!
Miriam and I are pleased to offer our amateur Dx'er, Contester and Topband friends discounted family vacations at our home near Pleasant Bay on Cape Cod and at our waterfront condominium in the capital city of Charlottetown on Prince Edward Island.  We are doing this as a way of "giving back" to those we have come to know in the amateur fraternity - and, quite honestly, as a means of earning a living as we transition from the life we have known into a life as "empty nesters" and retirees.
The site on Cape Cod includes use of a private beach on Pleasant Bay - which has the warmest water on Cape Cod.    You can read more about this property here:   At the homepage click on "properties to rent".  On the next page click on "rental search" and enter property ID# 17141.  Please note that this is not being offered as a ham radio "SeaQ Maui" rental opportunity but, rather, as a family vacation opportunity without amateur radio being part of the package.
The site in Charlottetown PEI is located directly on the waterfront with waterviews from every window (even when lying in bed) and is within a 5-7 minute walking distance to live theatre, all of Charlottetown's finest restaurants, outdoor dining bistros in summer in Victoria Row, antique stores and shopping at the Confederation Court Downtown Mall.  This property has received a 4.5 star (out of 5 star) Canada Select rating. There is no on-site amateur radio available.  However, amateur guests in Charlottetown, if desired, are welcome to come out to our place on the North shore for a tour of VY2ZM - and for those who really cannot escape from ham radio for very long, we are making available an "add on" option to include a one-night stay at our B&B operation which will include a night at the station controls of VY2ZM to check out the lowbands from sundown on PEI through European sunrise.  This is priced at $100 per night per room (2 per room) and includes a full breakfast overlooking the ocean cooked up by none other than Chef Jeff himself.
To our JA friends - If you are planning a pilgrimage to PEI to visit the ANNE OF GREEN GABLES homesite in Cavendish,  please consider staying during your visit with us downtown in the capital city - and please do come on out to see the station while you are on the island.  We would enjoy giving you the "cook's tour".
You can learn more about this property here:  or at - enter property ID#239538 at the home page.
Both properties in the prime summer weeks are being marketed to the general public at between $2000-$2100USD but to our amateur radio friends the price will be $1500 as a typical example.  Similar discounts are available for the rump months of June, September and October on the Cape - and in June and September on PEI.
Fine Print:  A signed rental agreement is required to rent these parcels along with a security damage deposit of $500 which will be refunded within 2 weeks of your stay assuming the place is left as you found it.  Rentals are from Saturday to Saturday with check in at 3:30PM - check out at 11:00AM - No pets and no smoking.  At this juncture we are looking for full week rentals only - Saturday to Saturday.
For more information, please email me at - or call me at 845 227 5108.  During the summer I can be reached on the island at 902 687 2112.  Hope to see some of you on PEI this summer!  73 JEFF K1ZM
